How much space do you need for the 360 booth?
Ideally, around 2.5m x 2.5m. This gives us enough room to operate the booth safely and keeps guests comfortably within the setup. That said, we're pretty flexible and can often rearrange things to work with the space your venue gives us. We'll make it work without cramping your party!
What do we need to provide at the venue?
Not much - we just need three things: enough space for the booth, access to a suitable electrical outlet, and shelter if we're setting up outdoors. We'll take care of the equipment, setup, operation and pack-down. You provide the party; we'll bring the spin.
What are the power and technical requirements?
Nothing too complicated! We need a suitable flat, level surface, adequate clearance around the booth, and access to a standard electrical outlet. We also need enough room around the setup for the camera arm to operate safely. If you're unsure whether your venue will work, send us the details and we'll help you figure it out.
Can you set the booth up outdoors?
Yep - with a little Wellington-weather planning! For outdoor events, we need a flat surface, a reliable dry power supply and overhead shelter, such as a marquee. Our equipment doesn't particularly enjoy surprise Wellington rain showers, so keeping it protected from the elements is a must.
How long does the booth take to set up?
Usually around 60–90 minutes. Some venues are a little more challenging to navigate - especially if there are stairs, tight access points or a long trek from the loading area - so we may need a little extra time. We're much happier being early than racing the clock!
Can you set up before our guests arrive?
Absolutely! We normally arrive around an hour before your booked start time, but if you need us completely set up and out of the way before guests arrive, we can arrive up to 2 hours early. Best of all, setup and pack-down are completely free and don't eat into your booked booth time. More party time, less setup time - everyone wins!
What if we need the booth set up early but want it running later?
Easy! That's exactly what our Idle Time option is designed for. We can arrive, set everything up and have the booth ready well before your event kicks off, then start entertaining guests at your chosen time. Just let us know your timeline when booking and we'll work around it.
